You are struck because u dont have biometric. I have seen significant no of application getting passport request who applied in july and Aug 2020 with biometrics. Problem is IRCC should always work in FIFO mode which they never does. They always pick the applications randomly.

Hi All, lets just focus on full approvals after AIP. I think IRCC is just creating hysteria among students by this list. What will you do with DLI list it biometrics are not done and ppr request is not coming.

If you are genuine student. Means you have got great profile, got admit from great university/college. Have genuine funds to support your study and stay. Nothing can stop. Visa officer is not stupid that he will reject your case Just becauee your brother is going to get his pr. Use some sense.
