    Medical exam

As far as I remember, Dr. does not need an express entry number. He/she will give you an information sheet, which you'll need to upload to your mycic profile, after invitation to apply. At the same time Dr. will enter your medical info into a database, to which CIC has access to.

    Reasons for Rejection

Oops, sorry, didn't see that BG turned from not started to in progress. That is not very common, but you'll be able to call CIC and find out in two weeks...

    Medical exam

Your medicals will only be valid for a year, so you may spend more money than you need to getting a second medical later on. You can get medical in other countries too http://www.cic.gc.ca/pp-md/pp-list.aspx

AOR in February 2016 EE Connect Here

Very sorry you got rejected. Is LMIA and job offer the same thing? Maybe they also wanted an explicit non-seasonal, permanent job offer? Don't be too upset. You and your lawyer can appeal the decision. And if that doesn't work out, you'll still have your Canadian work experience and will be able...

AOR in February 2016 EE Connect Here

Congrats to people who got their passport requests! Here's an updated empirical model to calculate your PPR date (based on data from Feb inland candidates whose bg check changed into progress for the second time and who got PPR):

Please Share Timeline from (2nd time) BG in progress to PPR

Hi, I did some analysis based on Feb group, and posted it in Feb thread: "So, instead of working today I was analyzing data posted by Feb AOR (inland) members of the forum trying to find a trend in PPR's. I found a trend for the FSW/CEC inland applicants, whose BG check changed to in progress...

Bridging Open Work Permit (BOWP) under express entry - connect here

I submitted it when I was applying to try and get the visa at the same time, but CIC just ignored it and issued work permit only. It's not necessary to submit it.

AOR in February 2016 EE Connect Here

Unfortunately there's not enough data for people in this group. But if to assume that it is the security check that went in progress (that's usually what it means when BG goes in progress for the second time), then the "guestimate" of the PPR date would be August 20th (or rather 22nd, which is...

AOR in February 2016 EE Connect Here

which agrees with my hypothesis and equation: no matter when BG changes in progress for the second time the overall wait time is around 182 days. So if you plug in your aor date your projected PPR would be Aug 8 +- 4 days. Of course every case is different, and I analyzed only data from people...

Is there a need for hiring an Immigration attorney or consultant

It depends on your previous experiences. If you've filled out couple of visa/work permit applications to Canada before and have a week or two to focus on your paperwork, I'd say you don't need a lawyer: as people above already said everything you need to know is posted on IRCC website. If you...

AOR in March 2016 >>>>> Good Luck ALL

I think that a stronger evidence would be something that is not other people`s confirmation. Usually a company has some sort of national registration number, that could serve as a proof of a company`s existence. Or the cached version of the website, if that website has gone inactive (see...

AOR in March 2016 >>>>> Good Luck ALL

Hey, I don't mean to make you more worried than you already are, but IRCC may take this as misrepresentation (the word "fraud" is mentioned) rather than work experience issue. The common sense would be that you'd have no reason to falsify a year of your work experience because you wouldn't...

Concern regarding Updating my Passport Details after receiving AOR

Raise a CSE. I updated my passport info that way, and later on saw it updated in GCMS notes.
