Thanks a lot Cyrus...I hope so...he mentioned that the background checks take time bc they are not done by CIC, so they don't have any control over them... My husband file went into process since June 15, 2012.

Guys...I received an email from my MP finally...he gave me some updates...he said that my husband file is in background check, but the file is due Feb for final decision...and he asked me to contact him early march if I didn't hear anything back from them...

Erina, so sorry to hear this :-[ but please don't give up...I am not sure but maybe you can request for an apeal...talk to a lawyer.... I am sure you will find a way..

BTW, guys it has been 5 days since I have sent those forms to my MP but no response yet,...is that normal? or I really shouldn't count on them.

Dear niloo I will let you know as soon as i hear sthing from My MP. Did you apply for your hubby as well? I still think that the process for men are Longer than women bc of the sarbazi thing....
