Hey folks - I received my GCMS notes today and observed my file is transferred to "GTA-CEN IRCC" from "Mississauga" and the reason was "Workload Re-distribution" - Is this Etobicoke location? Does anyone know about this office/location?

My in-law application was submitted on Dec 14 and no updates still.. However, My parents application was submitted on Dec 9 and they got passport request on Jan 2 - They have previous US travel history and may be considered under CAN+ program for faster processing.

You can also call VAC team and ask for status - they may give you some information depending on what your query is about and at what stage application resides currently. When i called they gave a standard answer of 4-5 months processing time etc., but i informed that an approval email is already...

Received work permit approval notification from the consulate - Waiting for the passports from VAC.

Hey APPNOV2014NY, did you receive any information from the Consulate? Let us know I have applied it yesterday (2nd December) through manual process. I will keep you guys posted with the updates as soon as i hear from Consulate.
