I did my medical exam today too, in Vancouver :) Agree with Banchos, it was a really quick process. Are any of you guys going to pay upfront RFPR after doing your medicals, or wait for word from CIC?

Congrats tfcfan! :) I am glad to see some that us May applicants are slowly getting progress. Stay positive everyone, I got my MR last week and it took me by complete surprise because my December GCMS notes said my file hadn't been started and nothing was "in progress." Agree with Banchos...

I hope it is due to CIC being slow over the holidays, but it seems unusual. Will you apply for another round of GCMS notes? I am thinking I will send off another request at the end of January.

Hi, I applied for my GCMS notes on November 28, and received them yesterday, December 29.

About 30 days. I ordered my GCMS notes on Nov 28, and got them yesterday, on Dec 29.

Thanks Shuki, I hope you are right. I am trying to stay positive and patient. I just hope my eligibility starts soon so then my medical can come - that is what I am most worried about. It's almost like my file has been forgotten about and not touched for months according to my GCMS... Good luck...

Does anyone know if there's a certain period of time to wait between your first GCMS notes and ordering your second? I tried to look online but couldn't see anything. Has anyone else encountered a delay like mine in CIC starting to process their file?
