Happy new Year everyone, I agree we are not going to hear anything from LVO until the late part of the first quarter of 2014, we have no updates so far and are just hoping. I understand they are clearing a backlog first and then will process 2013. But we will see.

How many people have applied for their GCMS, tbh I'm not sure it will tell us much until they actually start processing. I feel just emailing the LVO might be a better option at this stage.

I agree, we have no idea what 'early' means and we can't look to much into it. It is an ambiguous statement that could mean any month in 2014 from Jan to April I think.

Thank you for providing this information. Would it at all be possible for more 2013 LVO applicants to email the London Visa Office and ask for an update of their applications. We can then see what response we get from them>

Can I please ask that if any people through the 2013 LVO application, please email the immigration minister. As more and more other visa offices issue visas us at the LVO have had nothing processed and worth of all we have heard nothing from them. Please email the minister.

We just don't know what delays there might be, so far things are not looking good for LVO applicants this year, this is why I starting this thread, along with the many things I have mentioned in the pass there are also many other things that can cause delays. The only thing any of us LVO 2013...

I appreciate your reply. Out of interest how do you know that British applicants get their visa in 12 months? has this always been the case? I can see the longest time for a processing of a British citizen was 21.6 months. This could still be the case this year.

To my knowledge no one has has any update on their ECAS, just a slow waiting game and now Christmas is here you car guarantee a standstill.
