There was another post before Mead's which the person has deleted ,stating that 5 yrs or more gap means no visa for Canada..... If I was lucky, then I will give many examples of people who got lucky with similar profiles and experiences. Just becoz u are not aware of reality ,does not mean it...

With $1000 budget I can find any apartment very easily as more than 95% aparts are of that budget.

A lot of discussion has been done on Funds part before also. I have applied under university cat and did not paid any fees(year or term) to college nd gt visa in 5 days. Just showed enough funds in my bank account, including the total tuition and living expenses(CAD10k)

Pls don't get discouraged by above posts!!!! I have 8yrs of exp in IT, going for MBA and did B.Tech in Mechanical; Got visa in 5days. Only probs I see is justifying the employment gaps, which can also be overlooked by VO if ur college is good(reputed one).

For studying in Quebec,one requires CAQ nt CSQ before visa. The validity of CAQ is mentioned on it; mostly its valid for one more term ie if applied for Fall, then valid for winter also.

Well, nothing to worry about POE at St. John's as a lot of international students have been studying there for years. Chances of direct flight to St. John's from international ports are very less, lost likely u will have stop over at Toronto or Montreal which will be ur POE :) :)
