If there is silence for a very long time, just like in your case, sponsor can ask local MP to get an update on what's going on... especially when you are close to 1yr mark It may even be helpful with speedy file processing in some cases

Your sponsor should approach local MP who can get an update on your file from IRCC within days

Sadly, there is no option after an MP enquiry to reach out to NDVO … since you got the pre-arrival, processing on your file has been done .. but no one can predict accurate timeframe between pre-arrival and PPR .. could be within days or may even take weeks

When did you receive pre-arrival? Can you please share when was your file transferred to NDVO? And also what time was your ECAS update if you have any idea?

Its only for who are present in Canada their passports get stamped at Ottawa. Everything else is done at NDVO

That's right … Line 2 doesn't mean anything .. just to simplify we can think of it as if they opened the file just to enter it into their system .. nothing more than that … no sort of assessment … otherwise if they really start working on it right away .. do you think it takes it takes 4 months...

yeah people are still getting pre-arrival letter … I heard from only 2 applicants who received DM directly without pre-arrival .. one from April and other one from JUNE

APP REC thing has changed recently … no idea when exactly … but for all transfers that took place DEC onwards it shows APP REC first then change back to IN PROCESS …. for everyone who had transfers earlier in sept, oct, nov, etc there's was no such thing as APP REC in their status and they just...

APP RECEIVED thing is for all files that were transferred DEC onwards … for the ones that were moved until NOV , it has been always IN PROCESS. When was yours?

Line 2 or Status change to IN PROCESS. was it APP REC before Please elaborate
