Ecas is still saying "Application Received" even though AOR received, May be it takes a while to update?

I cant still link my application with UCI and Application number on my cic account Should I use Place of birth or Passport number? Also, Number of Family Members are including sponsor?

You should renew first, it only takes few days to renew vs passport getting renewed mid process in Sept 2019 which will create you extra work in updating CIC with latest information and they might ask you to resubmit application forms with new passport numbers
