NOVEMBER 2015 - OUTLAND SPOUSAL APPLICANTS

Whatever Eagle333 said about the old process and the new process only describe the most probable stages of your processing according to how ECAS update the status, however it is not absolute, he still advise forum members to get their GCMS notes to be 100% sure which stage you are at. If you...

    Providing more proof of relationship

I read from another forum member if you send too many pages of chat log, the CIC officer will just shred it before reaching the VO. My guess is sending copy of your plane tickets and more trip photos of you two might be a more desirable proof about your relationship.

I am pretty sure even without the 3rd line, things are already in motion once it is in the hands of the VO. I guess you can always order your GCMS notes http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/department/atip/requests-atip.asp if you are worried.

Hi biag_ni_lam-ang, it is a line that indicate the date they start processing your PR, in addition to the date that they receive your PR application and medical results receive. According to the old process, the 3rd line is an indication of eligibility had passed, whether it still hold truth...

The trick is to call early, CIC call center is opened from 7:00 am EST to serve the Atlantic provinces, that doesn't mean they will hang up on you if you are from other provinces.

Congrats! I was looking at another spreadsheet, looks like from aor2 to PR granted from HK VO varies from 3-9 months, but a few months ago I checked the cic website, it said the HK VO roughly requires 11 months to process, hopefully it wouldn't take that long for us.
