After having the BOWP approved and paper work issued, you are free to travel and come back to Canada. There is no issue as you are holding a valid work permit for a particular period of time. Please be advise, during implied status you are not allowed to travel except within Canada. I am in...

If you have your BOWP approved then you can return to Canada any time. I would suggest you to check the address that you used for your BOWP application as CIC is going to send the permit paper at that address. Congrats and good luck.

There is no sequence of priority as you stated. It is all visa office and officer dependent. One thing for sure that CEC is taking shorter time to process than all other category. I am not sure how CIC will manage to process all these applications with kind of sluggishness they are showing at...

My ECAS went from 3 lines to 6 lines today. They have added all the additional documents requests in the ECAS too. I am not sure what does it mean but assuming someone is working on the file.

At this moment it is very unlikely that 369 points will get an ITA for application. You have to wait for the points to go down quite a bit (>=100) to be eligible for an ITA. Points can be improved by: - Increasing IELTS score - having higher education - getting a LMIA supported job offer in...

My personal interpretation of CIC EE requirements is that if you do not have at least 6 in all band than you will not be eligible for FSW, FST or CEC category. You might consider retaking the exam to improve on the score.

You have not provided enough information to assess if you are eligible for FSW or CEC. It will be better for you to fill out the EE profile and if you answer all the questions, you will find out your eligibility. FYI: A mechanical engineer working a full time employee as an admin assistant...

You can use CIC EE tool to calculate your points easily. Besides that there are other tools including the one in this website you try out to see your standing. - Get a better score in IELTS - Get higher education ex: M.Sc. from recognized institutes - More job experience

There is no pattern for wait time. I am waiting with my BG check in progress for more than 2 months. It can be way shorter for you but you never know.

How long did it take for you to get the GCMS notes? I have applied at the beginning of this week and now waiting for it. My EE standing is very similar to you and the application status is still 'In Process'.

I have been reading different threads and seems that there is no pattern for Application processing time. Apparently, it is more officer dependent and also depends on degree of complicacy of the application itself. My application processing should take longer than average as I lived in more than...

Do not worry, there are lots of people with similar time line. Unless your application time is over 6 months, you should remain optimistic. Unless there is a definite response in My CIC, do not listen to BS.
