Thanks My timeline is nearly the same: Application sent March 7th Received by Sydney March 12th In process April 22nd So far, I still not have received the AOR and the received line is till here ☺

I am sure you will be doing fine. So actually you received RQ 2 months after they started to process it? The RQ request might come from local office, my guess. Did you check if your received line disappeared? May I ask which country you are coming from?

Sorry about this hkdvirdi . Do you have any idea why you received this RQ? Lot of travel, unemployment periods? Did you submit t4, notice of assessments in your application? What date diod they receive your application/started to process your application/sent you the RQ? Is it Sydney or local...

Hello Same thing for me, my application was received 12th march and the agent told me to wait another 2 weeks as they are opening applications from 25th February. She took my info but couldn't find me in the system I am wondering what is going on

I sent my application on 7th march, received by CIC 12th March I still have no news. I am wondering if processing has started and if my application was incomplete, do you think it would have been returned to me by now?

Thank you but this is not my question. I know that Sydney is reviewing everything before sending to the local CIC office. My question is : Is there a first opening of envelopes at Syndney as they receive them or do they wait a while before studying applications :)

Does anyone know if cic does open envelopes and quick assesment of applications when they reveive them?

I agree but if it sould not take 1 or 2 weeks even worse for returns after pver a month no? Anyway no one really knows ho ;)w the process takes place
