I just had a call with a nice CIC agent. She said i am gona send an email to let them know about the delay in your process. And it should trigger something at their end. Lets hope for the best.... :'(

CIC processing times is now showing March 20th applications are being processed. But mine was on 11th March and the status is still open. I am getting worried that my application is somehow lost... :( :( Can not figure out , what to do...!

For all of the applicants who have applied in May. Its my advice to just sleep for next 2 month at least. There are 100 of applicants, including myself, who have applied in March and they are waiting for their PGWP. CIC is now taking at least 3 months to process each application and at-least 2...

I am providing you with my opinion, but i am not sure. I think the delay in processing is all due to the recent decrease in oil prices. Lots of ppl got laid off from their jobs, and unemployment rate has increased since then. That's why the government has delayed granting new work permits...
