I believe they have a huge backlog with applications. They have to make decisions on 2016 applications and 2017 has to be finalized within a year. plus summer is around the corner, officers are going on vacation. God please help us.

Yeh, I am afraid that MP has no power over security. They can't send you husband to certain organizations in you country, that's the reason why they don't reveal security page in your notes. But sometimes you never know what MP can. Keep us updated please. It's a real torture.
