Do you know if your file reached local office? The agent might have said the date the file was mailed to local office from Sydney. Mine is similar case where the agent said that my file is ' in transit' since June 16th. It is still in 'in transit' status as of last week.

They start processing for kids very late than adults. For me, our application started processing on Apr 9th whereas for my kid, they started only May 26th. But it wont take much time for kids. They don't need to do the test, but I believe they need to attend the oath ceremony but not sure.

As redstone said, the transfer is online so it shouldn't take more than few mins if they really transferred. In my case it is not clear what they meant by ' in transit'. I'll have to call again and clarify. I'll post it once I call again.

Thanks redstone. The agent should have mentioned that the application is 'waiting in queue' to be transmitted to local office instead of saying 'in transit' which anyone would think that it is on the way. Anyway, more waiting :(

Typically how long it takes for the postal delivery of application from sydney office to local mississauga office? I called CIC two weeks before and they said my application is in transit to local office. I called again yesterday jun 30th and the agent said the application is still in transit...

They have doubled the processing fees since feb 6th. So they should be able to handle the additional volume.

Is this the 'Received' status line on the first page or the first received sentence when you click on 'in progress' status link? First page received status is gone for me but I don't think the received sentence will go away on the next page.

Better call CIC and make sure they have received your application and check the status.

Are you not able to access ECAS? Which identification type are you using? if you are using unique identifier don't forget to put '-' in between ( xxxx-xxxx)

Hello Xaymaca, I see from the google doc ,your test date as Jun 26 and they started processing your application on Apr 3rd. Can you confirm? How did you come to know about the test date, mail or ecas update?

Looked some timelines from october /November google doc. On an avg it took about 110 days from processing date to Test date. Some of the GTA applicants got their Test date in 100 days from processing date. Our test dates will most probably be scheduled around Aug/Sep. Called CIC today...

Looks like January applicants have started receiving Test date in June/July. How long does it usually takes to receive the test date? Will they communicate via regular mail and also displayed in ECAS?

What is LOT date on the spread sheet?

While updating your details in the spread sheet, pls make sure you are NOT updating other's information. Some one updated my location to Saskatoon from Mississauga.:)
