Yes I did get the UCI number with the official communication from CIO - NS in February 2014. My status in ECAS shows as 1 - We received your application for Permanent Residence on February 13th 2014 2 - Medical results have been received. Thats all that shows in my ECAS.

Hi, thanks so much for your reply. Yes, the CIC-NS office sent official mails to me and to my lawyer requesting for my medicals and my police certificates. I found that very confusing too. My papers are still with the CIC-NS office since February 2014 and have not yet gone to the CPC-Ottawa office.

I guess my case is much worse than yours. My application was filed in Nova Scotia on 13th February 2014 and the Nova Scotia office itself asked for medical and Police certificates in March 2014. I did my medicals in April 2014 and gave all police certificates in May 2014 to the Nova Scotia...
