    Guys chill out.. The strike is just part of the unexpected things that will come along the way.. I myself was disappointed but at the end of the day, its every Canadian Citizen's right, after all Canada is a democratic country.. ;D and We don't have any rights or whatsoever to get mad at them...

    I think we are almost there.. Ours was sent last July 17, 2013 (Passports, Appendix A and Photos) under FSW.. But I guess the Family Class is faster than FSW.. :) Btw, from where in the Pinas are you? :)

    Visa offices remain open PAFSO responded that they couldn't accept that condition since fighting for "equal pay for equal work" is the precise reason they are on strike. Edwards said foreign service officers are trying to close the wage gap with other government workers who do the same jobs...

    unfortunately there is nothing you can do but to wait. you only contact the cem if there are changes in your application (new born, change of status, death etc..) anyway, for sure your are on queue, who knows your next in line :)
