I have friends here who applied at the end of August 2021 and they took the test mid February 2022. It seems theirs is much faster but you never know with Ottawa office!!!

Just received the oath invitation for each family member - unfortunately we also have JT o_O

Finally after they misplaced a document, we are all done and scheduled for oath ceremony on March 9!! Now waiting on the invitation.

So I’ve been watching and waiting. Our situation was a little different in that we were contacted by IRCC on December 24 asking for a copy of a misplaced document and then we’d be finalized for oath end of Jan. To cut a LONG story short they only needed a copy as they misplaced the documents as...

Oh don’t be. I’m frustrated from those who applied in May 2021 and have already had their oath. I’ve come to just accept that it’s unfair and we’ll eventually get it.

At least you have DM already no? I think you also applied a few months after me. You even took the test before me. :) Again nothing regular about the way they are processing.

Oh I fully agree. It’s frustrating to see others who applied more than a year later breeze through the remaining steps while my last update was 5 months ago.

There are some ppl from October 2019 and earlier who haven’t even taken the test. Nothing is regular. I’ve contacted my MP and IRCC but they have other “priorities” right now and on the website they claim to be processing Aug 2019 applications so there’s no point to argue yet

No interview requested (yet?), and only background check and test completed. Everything else is In progress. AOR Feb 2020

It took us around 2 weeks after the test for them to show completed. It depends on when the officer reviews the test photos to confirm it and update the system. I’ve see. Some people updated the day after to more than a month later ‍♀️

Yes we’re also 2019 applicants - December 2019 and no update since test in May.

What email did you use? They replied right away!!! Wow

We did travel but not a tremendous amount. I have given up on trying to figure out a pattern with the timelines as there is no sense to it all! It’s frustrating though.
