Ok, so I've read the main threads about importing a vehicle from the US. Our car is a 2001 chevy so would be exempt from RIV. I'm unsure what then the steps would be for importing it. Has anyone done this, or does anyone understand it better than I do? (lol)

Finally got our biometrics request today! Almost a month since they received his medical results, I paid and sent receipt via webform like two weeks ago. Spouse (and I) are in US

Anyone else living outland with their spouse? I have been in the US for almost 8 years now but it is time to go home.

My husband is from the US, we both currently live here, and we're still waiting on biometric request as well.... medical completed 1 month ago now. Very frustrating waiting for this step while ee everyone else has done it already!

Waiting is so tough! Been a few weeks since medical, still no biometrics request or anything else. Feeling nervous about what all we submitted (or didn't) and hate being in limbo not knowing when we can move home (I am currently living in US with PA and our kid). So anxious to hear something!!!

I didn't originally pay biometrics fee (i don't think) cause i didnt think PA needed to do it.... obviously I know now that he does. Is this going to slow us down? Should i just wait for the request then pay?

We are applying outland, both living in USA currently. Recieved AOR1, completed medical, file transferred to Mississauga. PA renewed his passport as it was set to expire in May. Brought new passport to medical exam. Do we need to notify anyone of the new passport? Send copies (certified?)...

Medical done yesterday, email today saying file transferred to Mississauga

I kept my barcode pages with their applications too, oops. Just got first AOR though so not a complete dealbreaker!

Sent our file Jan 7 (unsure received date), just got AOR and medical request!
