If quebec is the same as Ontario , than you can just apply for a visa extension 1 month before your current visa expire. (in your case you should apply in 2 month). You shouldn't leave the country until the whole process is done,because if they deny you at the entry your case is cancelled...

I am in canada , the date is the issue not the country. I didnt get my visitor visa extension yet , so i don't have a date to enter. It must be greater than todays date. Last one expired sept 30... I cant apply online for the same reason, i can't pass that step.
