Anyone know how long it takes for a dependent child? My husband is inland and he hasn't gotten his interview yet but they have asked for the dependent child's passport in Kingston.

They just need to churn out the rest of 2015 applicants before the end of this year which I know is impossible seeing there's not much days left in the year. I'm sure they get two weeks holiday break. 2017 should be all about the 2016 applicants.

So I basically have to wait another 4 mths for my husband to get his status and fur my daughter to get here if I'm understanding right.

I know they get thousands of applications but it really shouldn't take so long especially if the spouses are living in Canada already.

When is this in effect because it's been 14 mths for me and they've been doing a background check since October. They have everything medical done, PCC done everything.
