I'm in India. Called via Canadian TextNow number. I keep engaged with Robot until I input my application number..........when I press 0 to transfer my call to an agent, the robot conveys its freaking inability to transfer the call!

You can get a free, virtual number of Canada from TextNow app or other such apps and call IRCC with that number.
