also i wonder if you are in canada for any part of day, it is counted towards ur PR days, then why they need to know about day trips. Also if i have authorized them to get CBSA report, then why i need to include same too. Also if they don't want to have day trips for citizenship application...

my concern is, even i don't know how many day trips i have done to US. We live very close to Border, and we frequently go to US for shopping, gas . Longer trips i know and also provided during my citizenship application.

Do we have to declare day trips in PR card renewal. In the form i see only mention about Have you traveled or lived outside of Canada in the last 5 years? Include all absences due to employment, trips to US, vacations etc. Thanks!!

every country have their pros and cons, you cant just compare apples with oranges. I know people here in canada who got PR's after work permits in 2 years, whereas I know ppl in USA who are waiting for 10+ years to just get their work permits converted to greencards. So that will make Canada...

Most of the letters i received during PR process be in medical test or Police Clearance, it was always mentioned in mail that you have specific number of days to complete from the letter date. So i assume time counts from letter date and not received date.

Ok found your problem. at column F, if you read text it says On Line F enter either date you arrived on canada or date 4 years prior to date on Line B if you arrived in Canada more that 4 years ago. so u arrived in 2009 which is before 4 years, so you will enter 4 years before of Line B Line...

Bcoz you are putting different application date in 2 forms 1. Basic Residence calculation, you have put date as 2015-06-25 2. In How to calculate residence, you have put date as column B as 2015-07-25 so difference of 30 days. :D ;D

Call at 1.888.242.2100 , it worked for me. Called and got AOR next day.

Thanks Anil for the reply. I haven't received any AOR yet and even ecas is not yet updated. I was scared to call CIC after hearing stories from people that it take 2-3 hrs to get contact of an Agent and never had so much time in spare. So finally i took the challenge, and made the call. But...
