Quebec Skilled Worker Federal Stage (After CSQ)

Hi Luc and thank you for the prompt reply. Yes, she's the main applicant indeed. I could't find any information pertaining this type of situation anywhere. Should I just apply for a work permit extension based on previously received CSQ then? We haven't received AOR yet.

Quebec Skilled Worker Federal Stage (After CSQ)

Guys, I need your advice, please. We've (me and my wife) been living in Canada since 2013. We started with one year open work permits. When they expired my wife went to school as International student and I was automatically granted two year open work permit. In September 2015 we received our...

100% true. I scored B1 last year and still I do not feel like B2 right now, even though I've been in Montréal for over a month already.

For applicants who presented A2 results it might not be enough, you're right. I took TEFaQ last year, I signed up a month before and paid 300EUR (for me and my wife). The results came after two weeks.

I was pretty sure, there wouldn't be any official notice regarding new rules of admission and files processing. 18 months is a plenty of time.

Did anyone else get the official letter regarding new rules (1 AUG)? If so? When did you submit your application? The information is devastating. It took me 1.5 yr hard work to obtain B1. For B2 it'd be additional 3 years. ???

Sounds strange to me as well. I wonder why there are no CSQ official timelines for certain world regions.

Hi there. I'm in the same spot. I've been waiting for over 5 months since my app. was filed. I guess it takes up to 7-8 months to get any further information (interview call / waiver).

In most of the cases an interview is performed, what makes the CSQ obtaining process even longer.

It's just an example but how easier would it be to have clear information on processing times for certain regions of the world. it's almost impossible to work, live and make plans for the future with such a incertitude. ::)
