so send them an email explaining your situation, that they have asked for 12 months validity and you have 10 months and that your country doesnt renew passports with more than 6 mnths...and wait for their reply thats what i would do hope it helps:)

I think you should send them an email and ask them to extend the 30 days so that you can renew your passport!

Im a resident of Abu Dhabi but my VO is Canada. It doesn matter where u reside, your application can be anywhere. U can check by ordering notes or calling CIC ( only call CIC if your application exceeded 6 mnths) Hope this helps
