Why are you worried Nadeem? Those provisions only apply to people who are Terrorists and who have dual citizens. You dont have to worry about it. As long as you intend to stay in Canada and make Canada your home, these new provisions should not worry anybody. They did raise the bar for English...

That could be called mis-interpretation, wether they can check or not check.. my principle is to not do anything dishonest. I think the reason they want to know is, is because if you have terminated your job or business.. then it becomes clear cut that you have been residing in Canada.

SAPGURU, what would be ideal for my situation, where I terminated the employment by sending an email resignation.. I was not getting release. They did not respond or acknowledge the resignation. So I just said "whatever" and bid them goodbye.

In my case all I have is an email resignation letter, but don't have termination letter, exit visa copies. My employer was not releasing passport and releasing me. They did not accept the resignation , but I just send it to them. Will that suffice? Did you include all this in the RQ.

fdk, thanks for the response. So did you send additional documents such as lease, work records, health records, rent payments etc.? In my case I have not been severely sick to see a doctor, so I have never been to a doctor. I do have a family doctor though, but all other documents I have.

What did you fill for Q14 on the form?

Should we attach extra documents for proof of residence or should we only send documents that they are asking in the application form. I have heard both sides of the argument. Some say its good to add additional documents and some say that it just makes CIC suspicious. Any expert advise?
