It is Good Sign indeed. I have the same timeline as yours. Status changed to IP2 around mid April. No update since then. Are you in IP2 , if yes , when did it change from IP1 ?

I have never asked about my Visa office to any agents previously. On ordering GCMS notes i found my visa office to be Ottawa. Also , now i dont intend to ask about the office to the agent and get stressed out asking the reason for the transfer.

Similar AOR date. IP2- 21st April 2018. Eligibility : Met Criminality : Passed Security : Not started. Not sure if my application has been transferred from Ottawa.

Same AOR date. Even my profile got updated with the same status. Just called CIC and the agent said that the eligibility is met and criminality is passed. Security is not yet started . Hoping for a PPR now.

Hi Guys, Just saw an update in my PR application. It now states that “We are processing your background check” . Is this a Ghost update ? If yes , how long does it take to receive Ready for Visa email after the update? Also , can re-medical be asked after this update ? Thanks

AOR 18th August...same status as your. Got to know that the eligibility is met , however BG not started. Not sure how long will it take.

I spoke with an agent a week back and be said that eligibility is met , but background not yet started.

I have emailed them ...and they came up with a generic response of aditional verification.
