I read somewhere on this forum that PPR emails/approvals only come in the evening. Is this true?

That's upsetting, so basically if you happen to go on a lot of holidays to one country in the 10 years of history they ask for, you need a Police certificate? I've been to the USA for a vacation at least 15 times in the past 10 years, usually for around 2 weeks at a time. I'm a little scared now.

On average, how long were people in the IP2 stage and awaiting PPR? In other words, how many days/weeks did you wait between IP2 and PPR? Thanks and good luck all!

I was wondering the same thing, as I have about 5 months US travel over a 10 year period. Additionally, I'm not sure I captured all trips, i tired to find all emails and receipts etc. So I am also worried about that.

I see, my travel is only between the USA and Canada,,, but its a fair amount (quite a few trips!) Plus I am CEC, so not sure if that has anything to do with it.

what are they actually checking in a background check and why does it take so long. Mine has been in progress for 3 weeks! Does the amount of travel really have an impact? Anyone care to share their stories with background checks?
