I am a sponser I also received the email while my wife did not. My understanding is requests for information go to the sponser and you both correspond between eachother as nesessary. Of course I could be wrong.

After over 7 months my file has finally been transferred to London. This is great news as we have heard nothing since the end of April. Excellent news for my first day visiting my wife and kids in Norway

I am aware they said the processing is one year but when i see posts of people who have applied in december done i feel this is a very broken system. My thought is they are processing some applications mich faster then others to keep their average processing at one year. This is extremly biased...

So we received our AOR by email on January 18th its now febuary 18th still absolutely nothing. Is this normal. Why the delay? Just any news would be helpful at this point.
