Hi, To my knowledge, (as discussed with L-1 fingerprints), RCMP will not send any reports to us. Any communication will be shared with CIC directly. The fingerprint company send the details to RCMP immediately and even a mail to CIC that we have got the fingerprints done.

Hi ALL, Yup, got the fingerprints done today. They will send the fingerprints to RCMP along with the necessary details (viz: CIC address, applicant details). RCMP will then communicate the results to CIC. Our job ends after getting the fingerprints done.

Guys, Thanks a lot to everyone for the prompt reply. Going to L-1 fingerprinting (closer to my house). Let's see what process they follw. Will surely post the details for future reference.

Hi, I got a message from CIC to get RCMP criminal record check done using fingerprints. I just have a small confusion. How does the RCMP clearance certificate reach CIC office. Do I have to send it to CIC office or will RCMP send it to them directly? Someone with similar experience, please...

I have work experience in different companies in the recent 10 years. In the "Personal History" section, should I make an entry for all the companies... In that case do I need to attach a separate sheet, bcoz there is shortage of space.. Please suggest...
