    Congrats Usma for MR... I am also FSW backlog reduction applicant....but my nomination is from Manitoba Province.....i had got AOR from CIO in October 2012...And LVO asked me about additional documents in last week in email but there is no MR requested in my Case in that email... :(

    Yes agreed with you....in our case....Provinical Nominee + FSW backlog reduction....Might be process faster than simple work permit.

    But on CIC website it has been mentioned 9 months processing time for work-permit for Islamabad Visa Office. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/temp/workers.asp And i was reading some other thread on this forum that people are waiting about more than one year for work permit visa...

    Actually i applied back in 2007 in FSW category, Since than my case is in process without any update (Except first AOR back in 2007 and file transfer to LVO from ISB) till march of this year....then got letter regarding FSW Backlog reduction Pilot program or you can say option has been given to...
