So friend of mine applied in Jan 2017, application received in February, RPRF at the end of April 2017 and today she already received medical request. I am only 5 weeks behind, so fingers crossed, I should hopefully get my medical request in few weeks!

The same opinion here! Which is actually bad for us, 3 weeks ago they changed it from 16 to 17 months, last monday they changed it again from 17 to 18. Let's see what the final processing time will be for us.

I know and it just drives me crazy. Just to understand this well - does it mean that 1) it will take 2 months longer even for the people who applied a year ago 2) it will take 18 months only for those who would apply now ??? Thanks

Hi Karan, yes, this is the usual process, everybody has to pay that much (but it's worth it in the end) :). And get ready for paying more, you still have the medical exam to be done, which is another few hundreds.
