Hello BeaC. When i applied for humanitarian i was on restoration. I was able to secure a work permit again after they took out the 4 years cap last dec. i was reaching my 4 years that time. I also tried to apply for express entry but my score didnt reach the quota. Thanks for tge reply

Hello. They started processing my app last sept 26 2016 and until now i havent received any news. No 1st approval yet. Does that mean that my application will be refused? Its slmost 1 year since they started processing it. Thanks

My apology for the confusion. What im worried about if i wont make him a dual citiZen, if i will be sent back home and he is canadiAn citizen, if i dont get a pretty stable job (its not easy to have a job esp iv been working abroad for years), i will have to pay his taxes for overstaying there...

I mean taxes in the philippines. Im a single mom and if i will be sent bAck home, he will go back with me.

He is canadiAn born citizen. Im just worried because if i wont make him dual citiZen and if i will be sent back home (im not a permanent resident yet), i might not be able to afford to pay taxes.

i got my work permit but was only given 7 months because im reaching 4 years on january. i didnt work for 9 months bec i was waiting for the result of my work permit. it includes extension and restoration. both of which i didnt work at all. question is, can i claim them in cic? thanks in advance.
