In the process of abiding by Canadian law one cannot overide their responibilites to the applicants who have been waiting in the queue after submitting all required doc, paying a fee and receiving a file number from CIC in accordance with the procedural rules laid down by CIC.

Now this SOMEWHERE if in existance, makes it all the more suspect. Why didn't CIC reveal this T & C when they were accepting applications and fees ? Had this been one of the clauses, if wouldn't have taken so long to deliver the verdict. They have infringed on our rights, by paying a fee and...

As per this logic even if it applies to People Living in Canada, CIC doesn’t have the license to misuse this law to achieve their hidden agenda. In other words CIC cannot use Canadian Laws with impunity even if it means breaking the laws of other countries. We have to come under the Canadian law...

I am not talking about who is correct, I'm just saying that people should keep their beliefs to themselves, all of us in this mess don't follow their religion and I find it offensive when people try and impose their beliefs on me. I have every right to be in the forum but i don't want the...

I joined this forum thinking i would get answers to the hundreds of questions i have regarding the backlog issue, but I’ve been noticing some members constantly invoke the names of their gods and write in their own languages, I would like to advise them to keep their religious beliefs to...

and oh i forgot............ the judge may say that the Govt of Canada has the right to retain your fees, as it was you who applied for immigration, that the choice was yours. Be prepared for another law that will get the approval of the Canadian parliament to retain your fees. ;D

U are absouletely correct, CIC will issue a statement that there is backlog to refund the processing fees. This time they might refund it (If ever) in the LIFO method. I think we may have to take them to court once again to get our fees returned.

It not about the law of the land. The million dollar question is why would an applicant who applied 8 years ago come under this particular law ? What was CIC doing all these years ? Hacthing eggs ? There is no backlog, but actually all are Wharehoused files. Theres a huge difference.

Frankly speaking i don't see CIC gettin outta this one. Is gonna be one helafa rig ma roll. This is all due to their making. Canada has every right to make and ammend laws but on the other hand applicants have an equal right to legally obliterate them. Applicants too have a personal jobs...

I didn't say 20% will win, i said the court might ask CIC to process all updated files. The rest may be deleted and asked to apply again. If they don't delete the rest, its going to take the same amount of time processing them 97 months at the least to process their files, it would be better...

I don’t think CIC will be completely defeated. To start with in the first place, CIC will be happy to process just 20% of the backlog cases. It’s better than dealing with all the backlog cases, for them. In my opinion the judge may not strike down 87.4 but may just want an amendment. CIC may...

In the first attempt they deleted your file by law, the second attempt they'll say your passport is not valid. You'll have to apply and wait all over again. ............ Happy applying ;) CIC just loves it.

Guess what, after all these torturous years of keeping us on hold, CIC has finally turned over a new leaf. They sacrificed their Christmas vacation just to work for us, all those grueling hours, for IN Process, applicants they’ve updated their status to Decision Made. ;D

And believe you me the damages will be astronomical. Jason Kenny will end up wearing G-Strings. Some jokers believe that immigration is a privilege, on the contrary keeping skilled people on hold is the biggest privilege, it comes with a price. By the way was Kenny shopping for panties in India ?

Running from pillar to post trying to sell an immigration policy is also a privilege not a right. Thats what CIC did when they were in need. It was a privilege getting FSW, but they think its their right by deleting their files after accepting money. REMEMBER I HAVE TOLD U REPEATEDLY CIC IS NOT...
