Well yes u are right...that would have been the reaction of person not belonging to a technical line. But the thing is... that it did probably ruin 6 months-1 year of a person's life. I know ' the permission to study in canada is a privilege not a right' but still !

@ enfield well the course is not strange.This is what I feel, no hard feelings. I think this course shows, more of a student's intention to study. The student wants to take an year to see in which field he feels to make a career. Many of my friends have successfully gone to pursue such courses...

don't worry I have seen 2 cases that took long enough like urs ! 1 took 18 working days other took 21. But both the results were positive. And as Melanie86 said 'timing is not imp. as long as the result is positive' :) :)

Well I don't know if they have a common interface to share information.But the fact I know is that is doesn't affect your visa.A friend of mine applied for US 2 times and got refused in both the cases. After that he applied for Canada this Sept Intake and got his visa.So don't worry :)

Really true you should reapply ! there are a million examples of those who got their visas in 2nd,3rd and even fourth attempt !..Go ahead make some changes in your profile and reapply :)

well yes there is...a frnd of mine applied on 28th November and got his visa 2 days back at CHC CHD. Just don't know what they are doing with the applicants who applied on 25th ..uhhh !!!!!!!!

Well yes I know they have asked for 15 working days...but still a frnd of mine applied on 28th November and received his visa yesterday.And I applied on 25th, at least they should follow a pattern that whosoever applied earlier should get a result earlier than others who applied afterwards ...

Well, he did his +2 ( with % somewhere 60) and applied for Computer Engineering Technician at sheridan college. IETLS 6 bands overall 7.5 Lakh loan against FDR 1 semester i.e 7200 $ already paid fee receipt No gaps Any other specific details I have no idea.This is all I know !
