I would say Just don't ruin your celebrations because of what she just said as each agent has their own opinion I guess. I am pretty sure if you call them again right now you will hear something positive. I called them today as well and the agent said my file is good even they have received...

Hi curious_one, my medical appeared on my ecas on 17th Nov and I am still waiting . how did you check if your husbands security clearances has been done? there are in fact quite a few people waiting for their second stage DM after their medicals .

Hi rossal-, congrats for your AIP, would suggest you call CIC and see whats their take on that. I am sure an agent would be able to give you the better advise.

Thank you very much lyn28 for your comprehensive reply , I did call CIC couple of times all they say is everything is good in my file and I just have to wait for the second stage approval letter I am keeping my fingers crossed for DM before new year.

Hi lyn28, I got my drivers license even before applying for PR. there is absolutely no requirement for drivers license except for the test. I got mine on the first attempt.
