Hi CEC_1304, You are right. CEC is officially not closed. But last year December (2012)when was applying for my work permit, It took hell more time than what it was supposed to take. When i called CIC , they told me almost everyone is on vacation. If everyone's aware then Its cool!!! Varun

One more Important thing to keep in mind is that "CEC" Offices across Canada will be closed from around 20th Dec 2014 till the 1st week of Jan 2015 (for 2 weeks - for Christmas Holidays). Be-aware.!! All the best guys..
