yesterday we got our passport back with USA Visa stamped.

Just returned from US Consulate Vancouver. Interview was simple. They asked about family, status in Canada, Job, relation in US and purpose of trip to USA. simple 5-10 interview. Officer told us our visa is approved and we have to collect our passport form Loomis Branch in 3-4 days.

Validity is 5 years from date of issue.

Yes you will. I think it will not go long for 1-3 days.

One more thing, What a joke. They took new snaps and on PR card they use old one, which i gave them at airport.

With the grace of GOD finally today just received my PR Card.

Call CIC call center today and they told me that my PR Card is mailed on 19th Aug. Hope I will receive it by Tuesday.

After getting PM from charmainefrances I checked my ecase for PR card and it is showing "Complete". Hope I will receive my PR card soon.

I called them regularly once in a week. I will call them by Friday.

My PR card ecase is showing "In Process" with following lines: Permanent Resident Card We received your application for a permanent resident card on May 3, 2014. We started processing your application on July 15, 2014.

I always checked the ecase with immigration file no as my wife is primary applicant. Today I checked my ecase for first time with my UCI. I found PR card status windows there. they have started processing on 15 July. I got letter on 23rd july and submitted snaps on 25th july. Till now no update...

Congratulations!!! Don't know when I will receive mine!
