Thanks again, as far as I know from CIC website in one of its manuals...the medical can be extended if a request is placed by VO within the 15 months from the last medical... Some people are requested to redo medical for all but the x-ray...I do hope so The problem right now is we do not know...

True! Add to this many other factors like age, your field of study/research, your academic background or experience, ...etc I have seen and known many cases Also add this country's orientation to R&D, research grants, scientific $$ resources ...total spending on that...

Don't I have seen many many cases more than you think from a PhD holder from U.K. , U.S. to many MSc graduates. Even with Canadian graduate degrees. Most don't work in engineering to survive...

Before you make any move do your research well. Not to disappoint you but I have known many engineers in different fields none of them have found an engineering job and they hold US/UK and few with Canadian graduate degrees (in Alberta).
