Same thing happened with me. My earlier status was "Background check: Your application is in progress. The next step is to conduct a background check." A week back it changed to "Background check: Not Applicable"

I am an Ontario PNP applicant. Applied in Oct'15 Ontario Nomination/AOR received: Noc'15/Dec'15 Additional Docs request: Oct'16 ITA: Dec'16 PR application submitted/Fees paid: Feb'17 Meds status changed to "passed": march'17. BG check changed to NA: .may '17

This month it changed. Around 20th it got changed. Dont know the exact date as i dint get any notification from my cic Account about the status change. I was just randomly checking my account and found it got changed to NA.

Aman, bro I do understand the frustration. Same as mine. I am also Nov'15 applicant with spouse. Mine last BG check status was changed from "In progress" to "Not applicable". Waiting waiting and waiting. Not sure how long its going to take.

Hey Amaan! When you say under 16 months, are you talking from time i got the provincial nomination? Or from the time i applied/paid PR fees?

Same thing for me buddy. It changed to NA from in progress. Its been a long wait. Patience is the key buddy.
