Maybe you should call CIC call center and find out when card was mailed. Since it may not be mailed on the same day it was approved. Also, the post office could be having delays based on where you are located. For example, people in the rural communities may experience longer wait time for mails...

When I did my landing they took the copy of my COPR that had a photo attached already. The photo used was submitted at the time of my passport request

I was thinking the same think. It would appear as if persons who landed within Canada and not at airport or border get processed faster.

Based on previous post in forum a lot of people got their cards in mail within 39-43 days after landing. So I would assume 6weeks based on the group who landed in January. Currently people in first week and second February getting approval based on previous posts

Well usually a passport request is the final request before getting COPR. At the landing interview they will sign the COPRi guess your I guess it differs for stream but people who did federal skills and CEC get COPR with passport in mail after passport submission.

Yes they will ask for info on your COPR. Also they will ask what's your current status in Canada and the expiry date. The CIC agent will make the request for your landing appointment. They will choose an office that's close to your address.

I called CIC to book appointment and they told me Etobicoke office would contact me Via email. So the office sent me an email 12 days after I called CIC to request appointment. The interview is nothing major. The lady asked me questions on the COPR. Then she asked me to sign both copies of COPR.

So I got an email from them on the 12 of February for an appointment schedule for February 16th. I got my sin same time too. Remember I call February 1st so they took 12 days to respond.

I called cic on the first day of February to schedule and appointment. I was told I would hear from the Etobicoke office with two weeks.
