Same Here. I too received the call today. My AOR is 10th Feb

I used DTDC courier service and was charged 1500 INR. But it was worth as the documents reached WES office within 4 days and within 2 weeks and I received a courier from them with WES final result. It was not necessary to send it back as the result copy is available online.

May be we should use this time frame of 3-5 months(or even more) to complete all the pending activities(personal n professional). Once the PR is issued and move to Canada, it wud be difficult to fly back to India regularly.

This is the first stage after you submit the application. For most of them, within a week, the medical results changes the status to Passed. I have applied almost 1.5 months back and there is no change in the status apart from medical. Welcome to the wait zone. Im considering a wait time of 4-5...

Better to consider 4-6 months as an avg time.

Heard abt the old system which was lengthy and cumbersome process. Its only the excitement of getting PR makes even a small wait time look like ages.. Processing time of less than 6 months now is a happy news to most of us. Anyways the only option is to wait n watch.. 8) 8)

Additionally I need to send the finger print to Canada to be verified by RCMP. But to do so, it has to be attested by local police. Will the police do it directly or do we need to pay any fees to get it done like of PCC? Thanks, Vijay
