If you call CIC and they tell you that they are processing applications before Jan 14th don't panic. They are not technically wrong. AOR doesn't count as processing and it doesn't mean that. As I see almost all Jan applications are not in process yet and status is just application received.

I sent another email to IRCC last Friday, and got a reply today stating the same info as before. The wrote that they are processing applications received before Jan14th and confirmed that my application is not on the system yet

The same person T A signed mine as well. It was delivered on Jan20. At least we can make sure it was delivered :)
