I really hope the time will stay 132 days. But as shown recently, they process 1 or max 2 days per week so I expect that processing time to go above 150 very soon. Only 4-5 days processed last month. So it's a simple math. And by the time they reach September only god knows how long it will be...

Processing times are increasing so quickly, from 120 to 132 days. By the time they reach September or August BOWP applicants it will be more then 6 months if it continues to go this pace. So frustrating :(

I'm glad you can keep working. Yes, everything is messed up. Whole point of BOWP doesn't make sense anymore, it should get you work permit while you wait for PR. Pls, keep us posted if you get it. Good luck!

Congrats! Looks for some ppl it is still moving and they don't go with BOWP processing in the order of application.

I believe it should be for all CEC applicants. I am October applicant and of course haven't gotten my MR yet. All our applications are delayed as nobody is processing them. While on the other side, Express Entry applicants get PR in 3 months.

You can apply for BOWP with your spouse in the same time. You apply for BOWP, she applies just for open work permit, it's not BOWP. Follow the cic questionnaire. When they ask you do you want to add your spouse just say yes. At the end you'll get list of both documents needed for apply. You...

I don't think you can do that. My spouse was on open work permit too. I had to wait to be within 4 months to apply for BOWP for both of us. They stick to that 4 months rule. When you are within 4 months you can apply. Some ppl say you can apply earlier and when they process it you are in 4...
