@Kuako, I don't think you need to do anything it takes between 3 to 5 weeks to get your passport back and you are only 12 days into the waiting game so relax while waiting and also remember those waiting for passport request in your prayers.

I think you were right to ask for reassurance that you will get your passport at a certain date so you won't be stress out with your travel.

@cutie, The AVO only calls to ask if you have to leave in 3 weeks or less but if you have a month or more they will just send you a passport request and ask you to leave within their time frame. In our case they haven't send us any letter yet they just called my wife to ask her if is possible...
