None of this makes sense, why only 5 stars and above hotels are chosen for 3 days quarantine. So, basically none of the smaller hotels meet the requirements of IRCC for security and other.. why??

It's official time is 30 days only, and people do receive it within that timeline, unless your file needs more retrieval time than usual which happens in very few cases. Don't really know why your company's immigration team advised you the timeline as 2-3 months.
