Have you tried sending emails specifically to Shanghai office? I read it on Zhihu and people said it works, though the posts were made in the beginning of 2021, not sure if it still works or not.

where did you apply for the permit? I have to say it's unbelievably fast considering it's non sds and for January intake. I know people who applied as early as you and still have not got it and their school starts on September

Does anyone know what would be considered a “complete application”? So I talked to my school consular yesterday and she said a complete application is when the medical and biometrics are validated and passed. But the cic website says it’s when you updated everything?! I’m really confused

it's seriously very unfair. The reason why I couldn't go for the sds route is that I did my bachelor in Canada and therefore I don't have IELTS, but does that make me less of a student? NO! So why taking so long

I applied with medical. I just did it and then submitted it with the whole application. And it passed after couple weeks. Though I am not applying from India, if that helps with your decision whether to do medical or not.

but if you go to this website https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/application/check-processing-times.html it says for inland applicants, it's 11 weeks, which is 2 weeks more than people who apply from outside of Canada. If they are processing june 5 inland...

Are you saying the 9 weeks processing time is just for SDS people? But for SDS, processing time is supposed to be 28 days or less though. I saw people with SDS got approved within 2 weeks
