dont worry, if you relationships are true, and with plenty of proof, they wont deny you. they started review my file on 7th July, DM made on 8th July, my interview is on 27th August, at Montreal office. they will send you the interview letter 10 days before. So probably gone take another 1.5...

i got my csq request in end of april, and received at the end of the May, send it to CIC right away, ecase showed started processing my case on july 7, and got DM on july 8th. so probably it wont take 4months, they should review your case soon.

When they started processing your case it will goes really fast, SA AIP and DM will probably done in one day, only the interview appointment will take abit of time.

Update, i am feb 19 applicant DM on July 8 got interview letter yesterday, will be landing on 27 August @ montreal Office very slow at Montreal office

it should be less than a week, i got AIP on 7th July, and next day received the DM, now just waiting the landing interview. i am Feb 19 applican

Thank you Chakrab, i guess i will keep a photocopy of my permit, but my wife got RQ for her citizenship, they only asked her rent receipt, phone bill stuff, didnt actually ask for her old permit, but i will keep one for me, just incase.

Congratz, when my wife got her PR interview(business immigration), they destroyed all her old study permit, said " you dont need it anymore"... so you should not take the chance... Anyways Thanks for the update, atleast i know i have 2 more weeks to wait. DM on July 7,
