Did you get your AOR1? Did you do biometrics, medicals etc? What country is the principal applicant in?

I had initially stapled and then I didn't want to leave it to chance I removed staples and then paper clipped them and sent it.

Even people in march have not got it yet. They are working on mid feb/early march applications I think.

Is it a problem if for my outland spousal application, you don't write the names in native script, its only in English? Will the send the entire package back?

Hopefully, I am happy they are moving (even though it seems to be super slow). I hope they stick to the order in which they received things otherwise I think thats super unfair.

Where are you doing your biometrics? Last I checked all the VACs in India are closed so how are you able to provide them with biometrics?

Who received the email for the biometrics request? Sponsor or principal applicant?

Is it a linear process where biometrics has to happen before they process anything else like the tourist visa. Most places in India infact all places in India you can't give biometrics so eventually when we get it will they again stop due to no biometric

Yeah, even I tried linking with receipt number which starts with R, no luck, i tried linking with temporary file number by removing the X, still no luck. Mines was received March 12th.

Were you able to link it online? Congrats, hopefully the rest of the process is much faster and somehow we still get to that 12 month timeline.

We should all quit our jobs, get hired by IRCC Sydney, work for them, process our applications and then quit and return back to our normal jobs. Honestly that might be a much faster process LOL

Where did you find this information? They told me an officer will be assigned to it and they are still working on Feb applications lol. but my question is if they are doing Feb still, why did they open March.

I don't think its random because when I called, they asked me some info and then the agent read some of my personal details like address etc to me and asked me to confirm if it was correct. So definitely some progress for sure, I hope.

My wife is in India, are VACs the only place where you can give biometrics in India? Or is there some private/third party service that will do the same?
