It's very confusing because most of the people say that if the program is 16 months then a 16 month pgwp will be issued.

I am applying for masters in computer science by coursework at a few unis. Some coursework option provide a 16 month program duration. But now the question is, if I apply for the Co op program later ( usually 4 to 8 months), so would this increase my program duration from 16 months to 20/24...

I guess so, because if I apply to Canada, I will have to tell them about my Australian Visa refusal. Can't hide such information from them.
